Had speedconnect for many years. Tech support was local and friendly and available.

Now my Internet is out on a Sunday, and I discover they no longer have after hours tech support? What's up with that? Are we back in the dial up days? No longer a happy customer!

Service keeps going in and out and getting worse and worse every day. My connection (in the last couple of months) has cut out, drops completely during the day and in the evenings, and ALSO on "weekends" when we use it the most. After being on the phone for over an hour, the tech finally just gave up saying that the tower that we are connected too is being over used by over 100% & that there was nothing they could do about that, because the tower can't keep up with the usage. They can't kick people off because that is totaly illegal, but we where told to just get used to the lag and dropped service because we don't have enough people per capita to put up a new tower in our area???

Say What??? There is new equipment out there that will fix this, but will they fix the problem???? Who Knows?????? They can tell when you have service or not so why do they not adjust your bill for you automatically?

I belive they realize that many people who live out the the country side don't have many options for their internet and that because if this, they take totaly advantage of them! Dear SPEEDCONNECT, if you are going to continue to have this type of horrible service, at least lower or adjust your prices or something!!!! Get the systems FIXED!!!!!!!! Speedconnect obviously does not care about their customers.

They are making promises they can't keep. They get rid of the 24 hour tech support and still charge for services they know customers are not receiving because of issues caused by them and their inadequate systems. This is just another company who just whats to eat up a smaller company and is not prepared for the type of influx on the demand of the system. They will put you through a series of commands to attempt to return service, even though they know the issues are on their end.

So whats up???????? I highly recommend some other ISP service you can get then this one. Speedconnect has not provided the promised type of services they siad they would and yet they are glad to take our fees even in the face of no service, dropped service, no tech support and overcharging for data. Speedconnect is going down, since they have cut their support (tech).

And it doesn't do any good to call it in. Because they are shut down on weekends and only have tech support on M-F 9:00-7:30.

Reason of review: VERY POOR Service. This is 2018 and this company is making a HUGE profits from selling internet that never works!

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Speedconnect Pros: I had internet connect that barely worked.

Speedconnect Cons: Service quality or customer service.
