Frustrated, disappointed and sometimes darn mad.
I have been a customer of 1st Commspeed, and now, Speedconnect. About once a week or so service goes down and I have to email for help.
Then, just recently, they said service was down for emergency service in my area and it would be up the next day. The next day I emailed to find out why it isn’t up and I am informed that I am 1 month behind and have been shutoff. In all the time I have had it this has not happened. No contact til today when I get a recorded message telling me I need to pay or call before my service is interrupted.
I send questions to be answered and all they can keep saying is pay and you’ll have service back. The only reason it wasn’t paid was I was in between checks. New bill on the 21st, paycheck the 27th. Though I accept that my bill is a little behind, I do not accept being turned off without any contact until after the fact.
Commspeed was a small town, pleasant company to deal with. My family also had Speedconnect and got tired of the hiccup in service.

They were quick to sign me up and collect my money, when I called in to complain that the service didn't work in the evening hours they told me that they were going to upgrade the equipment in the next few months, I waited then called in again and they said the did not know when it will be upgraded, I canceled and they charged me a service fee of 150.00...Not handled well in my opinion...I think they should refund my service fee and not sign up any new customers until they can offer reliable service. I do not recommend using this company for internet service.

As soon as my contract is up I am switching back to AT&T for my internet service. They constantly change prices, late fees are doubled and every single day before I start home schooling I have to reset my modem.
Very poor customer service relations along with shoddy service. So fed up with being ripped off by these people!
