Starting Sunday, August 21 the Wilton, Iowa tower was down. As of yesterday, Sunday, August 28, we still had no internet. When I called yesterday the recording stated that the tower was not down but our modem kept jumping around from sector to sector and they had no explanation as to why. This is the type of connection you can expect from this company, not once in a while, but every single night. This speed test was actually much better than many of then tests I have done in the past. I didnt think the 5 mbps I paid for when starting serice with this company was very much, but after seeing what they actually provided, I found myself hoping for even half of the agreed upon speed. Don't bother to try to cancel your service over the phone. The one guy in the "Retentions dept" who can cancel won't return your call. Evidently he's trying to slow down the steady march of customers leaving Speedconnect. After 5 days of no callbacks, I finally made the long drive to the nearest office. It was worth it to be rid of this perpetually slow interrupted service

I have never been so pissed off at a company in my life!! We have had this service for the past 2 years and it never stays working. ..I have to call the company to reset my modem every single time to use it and get put on a 20 min hold listening to there terrible annoying as heck symphony music that will drive you insane!! This company is a complete joke and should not be charging you to use there service when they can't even make it work! Read more

By far the worst isp I have ever had. Very slow and unstable. Glad I do not have these jokers at my business or I would be out of business. I live in a rural area and waiting for a alternative. Horrible internet service provider and horrible customer service They tried to come up with a online bill pay that will never go through then they charge you $10 extra if you pay over the phone just one of the many ways they rip you off. Every month it's a couple hour battle over the phone just to pay my bill which I usually get charged extra for just because I had to pay over the phone. internet service very wash at best you will have... I have this "service" in Twin Falls, Idaho. It is slow, to the point that streaming an entire episode of a TV show is a rare occurrence. Today, I did a test for the dew hours I was home... Not using the internet for anything other than their suggested speed test site. I am so unhappy with SpeedConnect. I am in Missoula Montana. the local office people are very good and professional. The techs they have sent out to check the system are very good and professional. We were unhappy with the service when we had it, it was always dropping and we had to constantly restart the modem. We moved a year ago and were told by the office our early termination fee would be waived because we were moving to an area without speedconnect.
